Ruaha National Park

This park's special character can be attributed to it's dramatis mountain scenery and varied topography. This further contributes to a considerable diversity of plants and game.

The key to all this is the Great Ruaha Rivert At the size of a small country such as Belgium, the river only recieves 500mm of rain, and is therefore cruicial to sustain the wildlife through the dry season, making the river the best game watching scene in the park. Consequently the Ruaha River Lodge occupies an extremely privileged position right on the river bank. 

Lazy Lagoon Island

Lazy Lagoon Island is a 9 km island around 3 km off shore from the mainland. This sand spit is protected by coral and is only accessible by boat, thus it's natural mangrove and bush habitats have been protected. There are still many small species of wildlife living on the island and the lodge itself has been disigned to leave the fragile ecosystem as preserved as possible.
